Our Mission

Optometric Physicians of Washington (OPW) strives to advocate, educate, and promote optometry and optometric physicians in Washington State. 

OPW serves as the voice and face of optometry at a state level and as an affiliate of the American Optometric Association (AOA) on a national level.  Together, OPW and the AOA represent more than 40,000 doctors of optometry, optometry students, paraoptometric assistants, and optometric technicians in more than 6,600 communities across the country.
